Female Mountain Lion Hunting To Close In Districts 404, 421, 444 & 450

The hunting of female mountain lions in Montana hunting districts 404, 421, 444 and 450, which include portions of Teton, Pondera, Chouteau, Cascade, Lewis & Clark, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Tuesday, February 1, 2011.

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for lions in the districts combined had been met.
