Female Mountain Lion Hunting To Close In District 301

The hunting of all female mountain lions in Montana hunting district 301, which includes portions of Gallatin and Park counties, closed at one-half hour after sunset on Wednesday, December 15, 2010.

The closure notice for the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for the district has been met.
