Female Mountain Lion Hunting To Close In District 270

The hunting of female mountain lions in western Montana Hunting District 270, a portion of Ravalli County, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Saturday, December 19, 2009.

The order closing the mountain lion season came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for lions in the district had been met.
